Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC) Board of Trustees has announced the retirement of Kathryn Ligon as President and CEO, effective June 1, 2020. Kathy has served in this position for 12 years. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Stacey V. Brennan, MD and board chair wrote, "Kathy has led this organization to financial strength, security and increased mission development." A Succession Committe of the board has been apointed and begun its work to identify the next President and CEO. Dr. Brennan expressed appreciation for Kathy's plans to continue serving in her position during the search process and commended her for her "strong and progressive leadership." Kathy has been an active and valuable representative of PCSC in PAHSA. She has shared her leadership as a member and Vice President of PAHSA's Board of Directors from 2012 to 2018. The position is posted and applications are being received through October 31, 2019. Kathy joins other leaders of PAHSA who are retiring in the coming months. Roger Stevens, CEO of Westminster Communities of Florida; and Judee Bavaria, President & CEO of Presby's Inspired Life will retire at the end of 2019. Frank McElroy has announced his retirement effective January 31, 2020.
