Congratulations to PAHSA members, HumanGood and Ohio Living, for being named among the top 20 large senior living organization on 2019 Best Places to Work in Aging Services  (based on number of employees) by Fortune Magazine and Great Places to Work.  The category also includes the top 20 small and medium senior living organizations and the top 10 HBSC organizations.

At #13, HumanGood, based in Pleasanton, CA, with 3,421 employees, received an 83% response saying it is a great place to work. HumanGood provides housing and services at 18 locations in California,  Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Washington State, as well as 51 affordable housing locations.  In June 2019, HumanGood announced its affiliation with Presby's Inspired Life adding its 30 communities that serve greater Philadelphia, PA.

Ohio Living, based in Columbus, OH, with 3,097 employees ranked at #17, also with 83% of employees responding that it is a great place to work. In 2018, Ohio Living was ranked #22 in Best Places to Work in Aging Services.  In a feature article about this year's list, posted by Senior Housing News.com,  Larry Gumina, President & CEO said, "We strive to hire employees who are both competent and mission-oriented.
