Meet our Consultant in Residence
J.D. Shuman, CFRE
President & CEO
Asbury Foundation
With more than 20 years in older adult services, J.D. brings innovation and a fresh perspective on philanthropy in and for senior communities. J. D. began his career with Asbury Foundation in 2007. Since taking the lead as CEO 2019, the foundation retains $60 million in assets and has secured over $10 million in annual support. His expertise includes strategic planning, team mentorship, board development, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. He has served on the editorial board of the "Philanthropy in Aging Services" study.

Summit Highlights:
