In today’s world, what does it mean for leaders in aging services to lead from a dedicated faith?

As fewer people are “churched,” how can we help our residents, clients, employees and the public understand our mission, claim meaning and find a common language of multi-cultural faith? How do we invest in employees so that they find purposeful work, friends in faith, a career vision and spiritual growth? How do we expand our world-view and make room to have fruitful conversation?

In our time together, we will reflect on changes in an increasingly secularized society that impacts our culture, with a special focus on employee engagement and sense of purpose, workforce outreach and leadership development. We'll engage these challenging topics and encourage each other within the fellowship of senior housing and services leaders. Together we aim to renew our common commitment to mission and faith-based culture, strengthen and refresh leaders and learn from forward-thinking ideas. Come stretch your mind and rejuvenate your spirit with your colleagues in ministry to older adults.

Special conference features include:

- Sunday worship and conference at White Sands of La Jolla, hosted by HumanGood

- Engaging presenters who bring their expertise on our theme

- Conversation and reflection on the opportunities and challenges faced by our leaders

- Monday evening dinner in La Jolla.

Spend an hour with your colleagues to share experiences and resources unique to ministry in a senior living context. This virtual gathering of senior living chaplains, campus pastors and spiritual care providers offers a time to learn together, pray together, offer mutual support and more.
